These are the same tiedown mounts that we include with our Fenix headlamps. They cinch tight and weigh almost nothing. Now offered separately, for those that might already own a good headlamp and want to use it on their bike helmet.

- Tiedown only (No Strap Keepers) is a good option if mounting a headlamp without the headband strap or if the strap fully fits over the helmet and doesn't slip off the top of the helmet when tightened

Instructions for Mounting to Helmet:
- Find a surface on the helmet above the ear for the Dual Lock tape bases
- Peel and stick Dual Lock bases to the helmet on those spots
- Snap on the Strap Keepers onto their Dual Lock bases
- Push tiedown loop in thru the left-side headband strap slot of the headlamp bracket and the pull the rest of the tiedown thru the loop securing it the headlamp
- Find a vent in the front of the helmet or visor and thread tiedown cord down thru it and up another vent back toward the other side of the headlamp. Note: sometimes it’s more comfortable if Shock Cord routes between the helmet shell and the helmet’s foam liner
- Attach the nylon clip to the right-side strap slot with cord end facing outward
- Cinch the shock cord tight using the silicone gripper
- Once headlamp is secure to the helmet, fully loosen headlamp strap and place the strap into the Strap Keepers and tighten the headband if necessary
- Extra pair of Dual Lock bases are included if you want to move the headlamp to another helmet
