Check out new strap design that turns the ladder lock into a dual-adjustment buckle making this combo the ultimate in versatility.
Austere Manufacturing created a perfect version of the classic ladder lock buckle, and we paired it with a Hypalon Strap, so it won't slip loose, no matter what. These CNC machined aluminum buckles are featherlight, yet crazy strong and unlike some plastic buckles, they won't crack when you need them the most.
Our Hypalon Straps are thin enough to take advantage of the pin placement on the Ladder Lock Buckle to make the buckle dual-adjustable. That's an awesome option to have, so you'll never need to reposition the buckle as you cinch the strap. There's no stitching on this configuration: it's super simple, super strong and one buckle works with multiple strap lengths. Relative to cheaper nylon straps, Hypalon Straps have a rubberized texture that's grippy, not slippy. Two versions available: one with Pins out (no strap included) specifically for replacing a plastic buckle on your gear or get a buckle with the pins in and include a Hypalon strap for a super secure strap combo.
Ladder Buckle design gives you an ultra-secure tension with fine adjustment
Allows movement in the tightening directions only until it's released
Ultralight, strong CNC aluminum body with stainless steel pins
Super durable Cerakote finish in colors of Black, Orange, Light Blue and Purple
Straps are both 3/4" (20mm) and 1" (25mm) wide and available in 15", 20", 25", 35" and 45" lengths (when in doubt, go up a size as Hypalon is easy cut to length with no fraying). Also available in a 3-pack strap bundle
Straps are interchangeable: easy to switch out because they are not stitched permanently to the buckle
Extra Straps are available so a single buckle can be used for strapping large or small items
Weatherproof Hypalon straps are UV and abrasion resistant with a rubberized texture that won't absorb water and is paint friendly
The thinner Hypalon is much easier to thread thru the ladder lock than thicker Nylon straps and as a bonus can take advantage of the Buckle's pin placement to make it the buckle dual-adjustable
Two rubber strap keepers (one for each side) included to manage excess strap length

I have a pair of Bedrock Mtn.Clogs that I busted the ladder buckle on. I could have sent them back for a free replacement, however; it would have been another plastic ladder buckle - prone to breaking again. I figured i'd give these Austere Ladder buckles a shot and so far so good.
Everything stays put when cinched down, the beefer buckle on my clogs makes them look cooler "my opinion obviously", and the instillation with the light tapping of a hammer was a breeze.
10/10 would recommend. will be ordering another one for the other clog.

Solved my problems and it'll save me so much space and time with the water bladder and faffing! The click detachment in the hose is so good, wish I knew about the SWIG before!

Great Product and Customer Service
The pocket seems to work pretty great so far. They are comfortable against your shoulder and extremely sturdy, especially coming from a dangling shoulder water bottle holder the difference is pretty stark. It fits a 600ml Hydrapak running flask just fine and feels really sturdy.
I had a small manufacturing defect on one of the pockets, but a quick email later and they sent me out a new one with no fuss. Also, I had a few questions before purchase and always received answers within just a few hours.
One final note, the product looks just a little different than the ones in the pictures. The main pockets are stretch mesh and the backing is neoprene.
Overall great product that I'm excited to use more. I have been looking for this exact thing for a while now.

Splendid little headlamp!
I love these little lights so much that I have bought them for a couple family members! They are lightweight, but can put out a lot of light if you need it. Great for fixing things and camping. I like to affix a magnet to the battery cap and now you can remove it from the strap (pull SIDEWAYS) and stick it places.
