NEW Curved V.3 is out with a stiffer core and a cut-out design that allows StrapPads to perfectly conform to bottles, holding them even tighter!
Got extra cage bosses? Want to put them to use?Our versatile StrapPads are the answer! Designed to securely hold a wide variety of essentials: tube, toolroll, bottle, etc. Perfect for placing water and other "stuff" under the downtube, where they can take the punishment that bottle cages can't. Latest version sports a rubberize gripper material on both sides to hold your gear super tight.
Unlike a metal cargo cage, our StrapPad is made of super tough 3mm thick thermoplastic that bends slightly to conform to any bottle with 100% contact between the pad and your bottle/gear and it also has some forgiveness just in case you bang into it with your ankle, shin or worse
Included integrated Voile 12" Strap in your choice of Color provides both a secure grip and fast access
Rubberized grip material on both inside and outside is super durable and holds your gear tight and rattle-free
Hand-finished edges are rounded for safety
Includes all necessary hardware: Flathead M5 bolts (use 3mm Hex wrench) and aluminum spacers fit all standard cage bosses
Countersunk bolts won't scratch or interfere with bottles or gear
Flat Version includes a silicone band to help organize your tube and other gear before locking everything down with the strap
Max circumference of gear with 12" Voile is 9.5" (same as standard water bottles), but it's easy to switch out to a longer strap if you want to use Nalgene, etc.
Max recommended load using a single strap is 36oz
Light at just 64g including the Voile Strap
Proudly made in Arizona, USA

This lives on the downtube of my gravel bike. I forget it's there until I need it. I keep voile straps with me at pretty well all times, and definitely do when on the bike. Sometimes I strap a 3rd bottle down there when I start to carry extra water when necessary. Sometimes I pick something up mid ride from a convenience store. Either way, you can slide the bottle around a bit to get the right fit and tire clearance, cinch up the fit proper, and carry on. I have used it for a small tool cannister as well. Much better functionality then a bottle cage down there and it's hardly noticeable when unloaded unlike an unsightly cage.

Used to replace the ladder buckle on my Bedrocks
I have a pair of Bedrock Mtn.Clogs that I busted the ladder buckle on. I could have sent them back for a free replacement, however; it would have been another plastic ladder buckle - prone to breaking again. I figured i'd give these Austere Ladder buckles a shot and so far so good.
Everything stays put when cinched down, the beefer buckle on my clogs makes them look cooler "my opinion obviously", and the instillation with the light tapping of a hammer was a breeze.
10/10 would recommend. will be ordering another one for the other clog.

Exceeded expectations
Solved my problems and it'll save me so much space and time with the water bladder and faffing! The click detachment in the hose is so good, wish I knew about the SWIG before!

Great Product and Customer Service
The pocket seems to work pretty great so far. They are comfortable against your shoulder and extremely sturdy, especially coming from a dangling shoulder water bottle holder the difference is pretty stark. It fits a 600ml Hydrapak running flask just fine and feels really sturdy.
I had a small manufacturing defect on one of the pockets, but a quick email later and they sent me out a new one with no fuss. Also, I had a few questions before purchase and always received answers within just a few hours.
One final note, the product looks just a little different than the ones in the pictures. The main pockets are stretch mesh and the backing is neoprene.
Overall great product that I'm excited to use more. I have been looking for this exact thing for a while now.

Portage strap
I installed my portage strap today using 2 small voile straps. It feels secure and makes the lift much easier.

Splendid little headlamp!
I love these little lights so much that I have bought them for a couple family members! They are lightweight, but can put out a lot of light if you need it. Great for fixing things and camping. I like to affix a magnet to the battery cap and now you can remove it from the strap (pull SIDEWAYS) and stick it places.
