Why carry your water on your back?

Want to move your hydration to your bike without losing the convenience of a bite-valve?  Use one of these super simple, but effective Adapter Caps and you can! The SWIG63 Cap makes most* 63mm widemouth bottles hydration hose friendly.  The secret is a tiny silicone air-valve that relieves the vacuum pressure without leaking any water.  So now you can sip from your favorite bottle hands-free.

  • Measure your bottle opening, if its 63mm in diameter and has universal threads (Nalgene standard) then this adapter most likely will fit
  • *Fits all 63mm (Widemouth) Nalgene, CamelBak, Polar and Hydraflask bottles
  • *Does not fit 63mm Specialized, Kleen Kanteen or Zefal bottles
  • Makes metal, plastic and insulated bottles compatible with any hydration tube
  • Awesome accessory for almost any cycling discipline: ultra-races to bikepacking
  • 100% BPA free
  • Two-piece cap design makes it easy to screw on/off and to clean
  • Use your own Tube and Bite Valve or choose an optional Insulated Tube (36"), Clear/Smoky Tube (36"), Orange Tube (34") or Stubby Hose (3" Insulated) all topped with an awesome HydraPak Comet Bite Valve
  • Cap includes a silicone air-valve and "cut to fit" straws
  • Longer tube options (Insulated, Clear and Orange Tube) also include Quick Connect and Hydro Strap Clip
  • This is a bike specific version of the Cap and includes an extra straw that gives you the option to switch your Cap to a different size bottle and silicone fittings on the Tubing to keep it tight on the bottle on the roughest trails
  • Works great with our Flip Clip Hose Mounts, Handlebar Hydro Mag Clips and Tether Reels (all available separately)
  • Extra straws and valves available separately
  • Lifetime Guaranteed against manufacturing defects
  • Risk-Free Purchase: if you're not satisfied, we'll send you a return label and exchange it for free!

Pro Tips:

  • For mounting on a bike, it is best to bend the straw before cutting. Bend it so its end rests in the corner of the bottle and then cut it.
  • You want the straw to be at the lowest point when to bottle is mounted on an angle, for example, when the bottle is mounted on the downtube.  With a clear bottle, just look to make sure the straw is pointed down with its end at the lowest possible point.  With an opaque bottle, line the bend of the straw up with the white air valve and then make sure both straw and valve are pointed down when bottle is mounted.
  • It is possible to refill your bottle via the hydration hose with a squeeze filtration accessory, but since the air valve is a one-way valve it's best to unscrew the SWIG cap just slightly.
  • Extra valves and straws are available separately, but in a pinch, you can also make your own straw by cutting some hydration tubing

Good enough

It does the job but for some reason is hard to suck up the water from my bottle, perhaps the air valve is not opening enough or too small.

Hugo-
Thanks so much for review/feedback. Drinking shouldn't be any harder from the SWIG Cap than from a regular hydration bladder, so if it is then something is wrong with either the straw or the one-way air valve on the cap. To test the straw, gently pull the air valve off the lid with your fingers and drink. If the water flow is not improved, make sure straw if fully pressed into the lid and that the end of the straw is not obstructed by the bottom of the bottle. Bending the straw slightly will fix this. If water flow works fine with air valve removed, then reinstall the valve. Sometimes just reinstalling valve fixes the problem, if not, then the air valve is probably not fully seated, so push on the top of it and then move it side to side with your finger. This should seat the valve, so it can equalize the air pressure in the bottle and water flow will improve. If neither of these fixes work, call or email us and we'll be glad to troubleshoot the problem.

So far so good. My concern was it appearing fragile. Also the flat piece for the tubes is separate from the ring. Maybe easier to clean. I had something similar years ago that was sturdier in appearance. I guess time will tell. I very much appreciate that I could use the drink tube I had. Two bottle tubes are included for different sized bottles. I am using mine for two sizes of Thermoflask and it also fits my Polar water bottles. It was harder to find these large mouth adapters. There are many for the typical disposable water bottle.

LOVE THE PRODUCT!!!! Next best thing since nalgene.

such an awesome product swig rigs are the way to go. I now own 2 of the swig 63 rigs now both on 1.5l Nalgenes and looking at getting 2 more in the future for my smaller 1L nalgenes.
I've never had any problems with the inside straws falling off or leaks truely an amazing product and enough videos on the websites as guides it is literally an idiot proof product.
Can't wait to see what thw company comes out with next.
Living in the UK I have to import when I buy but it's totally worth it when ypu realise it's a buy once product unless ypu have the same bug as me and need one swig rig cap for each bottle I own.

Exceeded expectations

Solved my problems and it'll save me so much space and time with the water bladder and faffing! The click detachment in the hose is so good, wish I knew about the SWIG before!
