difficult to attach to pack strap. requires taking strap off and in some cases cutting the end of the pack strap.
Fixed. We just released V2 of the Pack Pocket in March and one of the primary issues we addressed with the new version was mounting the Pockets to the shoulder straps. New attachment employs two simple wraps and takes less than a minute to mount, no need undo the shoulder strap and thread it thru the Pocket. We really appreciate all feedback, both likes and dislikes, but its the more critical reviews that help us improve. So our apologies for us not getting it quite right on the last go around and thank you again for helping us make it better.

Pack strap pocket and soft flask
Pocket fits well on pack. It’s not too big or heavy when the flask is full. It’s easier to fill the flask unscrewing the cap. The bite valve can freeze, but because it’s easy to reach, you can chew on it and squeeze the flask to get the water. It’s helped me with winter hiking.

Perfect Solution!
This thing is sweet. I've been looking for a soft flask holder for my Raide LF40 ski pack for a long time. In a desperate attempt to drink more water on tours, I've tried a bunch of bottle holders from other brands, and this one is by far the best. It honestly feels like it's part of the bag, and I don't notice it at all on the skin track or on steep descents. I did have to cut the webbing on my shoulder strap to attach it, but no biggie, and well worth it. Lastly, the build quality is even better than expected! Well done.

Perfect for my ski pack
These things are rad- they fit perfectly, lying in an easy to access but not intrusive positing on the pack strap, and are big enough to hold a 750ml bottle or flask. Depending on your pack you may have to modify or resew the folded finish on your adjustable webbing, but easily done and well worth it!

Great Product and Customer Service
The pocket seems to work pretty great so far. They are comfortable against your shoulder and extremely sturdy, especially coming from a dangling shoulder water bottle holder the difference is pretty stark. It fits a 600ml Hydrapak running flask just fine and feels really sturdy.
I had a small manufacturing defect on one of the pockets, but a quick email later and they sent me out a new one with no fuss. Also, I had a few questions before purchase and always received answers within just a few hours.
One final note, the product looks just a little different than the ones in the pictures. The main pockets are stretch mesh and the backing is neoprene.
Overall great product that I'm excited to use more. I have been looking for this exact thing for a while now.

Great product for a specific use case
I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to run my Hydro hose along the side of my frame before stumbling upon this solution and it worked perfectly! The magnets are strong enough to keep the hose on the side of my frame without falling off on chunky sections. The clip option is fantastic for holding the bend in the hose. These Clips/magnets let you get really creative with how you want to run your setup.

such an awesome product swig rigs are the way to go. I now own 2 of the swig 63 rigs now both on 1.5l Nalgenes and looking at getting 2 more in the future for my smaller 1L nalgenes.
I've never had any problems with the inside straws falling off or leaks truely an amazing product and enough videos on the websites as guides it is literally an idiot proof product.
Can't wait to see what thw company comes out with next.
Living in the UK I have to import when I buy but it's totally worth it when ypu realise it's a buy once product unless ypu have the same bug as me and need one swig rig cap for each bottle I own.

Used to replace the ladder buckle on my Bedrocks
I have a pair of Bedrock Mtn.Clogs that I busted the ladder buckle on. I could have sent them back for a free replacement, however; it would have been another plastic ladder buckle - prone to breaking again. I figured i'd give these Austere Ladder buckles a shot and so far so good.
Everything stays put when cinched down, the beefer buckle on my clogs makes them look cooler "my opinion obviously", and the instillation with the light tapping of a hammer was a breeze.
10/10 would recommend. will be ordering another one for the other clog.

Exceeded expectations
